In his book "Haqaiiq Tasawuf", Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Rahimahullah Isa discusses the benefits of dhikr. According to Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya in his book "Al-kalam wâbil assayib minal has Tayyab," dhikr has over a hundred benefits:

1. Expels Satan and subdues negative influences.
2. Leads to the approval of God.
3. Eliminates worries and anxieties of the heart.
4. Brings joy and gladness to the heart.
5. Illuminates the face and heart.
6. Strengthens the heart and body.
7. Provides sustenance.
8. Invokes respect, sweetness, and pleasant appearance.
9. Cultivates love, which is the essence of Islam and the key to happiness and salvation. Dhikr is essential for those seeking the love of God.
10. Enables self-censorship (self-observation) and leads to the attainment of the level of ihssan (perfection) in worshiping God. Dhikr is the path to realizing this level. Just as a restless person cannot reach their destination without moving, one cannot reach the rank of ihssan without regularly engaging in dhikr.
