<p>In his book "Haqaiiq Tasawuf", Shaykh Abd al-Qadir al-Rahimahullah Isa discusses the benefits of dhikr. According to Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya in his book "Al-kalam wâbil assayib minal has Tayyab," dhikr has over a hundred benefits:</p>

  <li>Expels Satan and subdues negative influences.</li>
  <li>Leads to the approval of God.</li>
  <li>Eliminates worries and anxieties of the heart.</li>
  <li>Brings joy and gladness to the heart.</li>
  <li>Illuminates the face and heart.</li>
  <li>Strengthens the heart and body.</li>
  <li>Provides sustenance.</li>
  <li>Invokes respect, sweetness, and pleasant appearance.</li>
  <li>Cultivates love, which is the essence of Islam and the key to happiness and salvation. Dhikr is essential for those seeking the love of God.</li>
  <li>Enables self-censorship (self-observation) and leads to the attainment of the level of ihssan (perfection) in worshiping God. Dhikr is the path to realizing this level. Just as a restless person cannot reach their destination without moving, one cannot reach the rank of ihssan without regularly engaging in dhikr.</li>
</ol>
